Wet Scrubbers

Wet Scrubbing is the process of extracting harmful fumes from various chemical processes, and “scrubbing” the extracted air in order to remove the volatiles from the air stream, prior to clean air being exhausted to atmosphere.

Fumes are extracted via pin point extraction connections, overhead hoods or manifolds. The fumes are then extracted through correctly specified ducting and into a Scrubber. The scrubber usually comprises of a packed bed system involving pawl rings or other surface enhancing capturing media, a spray system using either water or the required and specified effluent, mist eliminators, collection sumps, water treatment plant and the extraction fan & motor assembly.

Each application is different, and we will conduct a full site needs analysis and survey in order to offer you the most appropriate equipment and solution for your application.
