Fume Extraction comprises of the extraction of harmful or offensive fumes generated through a specific process. The fumes are extracted via connection ducts, hoods or manifolds and the fumes are extracted via correctly specified ducting.
Depending on the nature and type of fumes extracted, the fumes can either be exhausted to atmosphere in accordance to local legislative requirements, or if harmful to the environment could be filtered by a purpose made filtration system, which could comprise of an Activated Carbon Filtration System, or a Wet or Dry Scrubbing System.
